Kidz Cabin's Arabian nights: Well done all!

Part 3 (Final)

The children took turn to perform on stage. Green Cabin, Red Cabin, Yellow Cabin, Purple Cabin, Orange Cabin, Brown Cabin, Pink Cabin, Rainbow Cabin, et cetera. All got their opportunity to perform. At the end of the session, all the children we gathered on stage. They sang the compulsory song for every concert - Dikedee Doo Daah... or something like that (I know the melody, but not the lyrics, or the name of the song). And before the graduation ceremony for children of Purple Cabin took place, usually a video prepared by the teachers will be presented to the audience. This was the part where most parents got touched emotionally.

The video introduced all the children of Purple Cabin that will be leaving the kindergarten. Plus the background music which was intentionally chosen to portray kids growing up and become adult. Usually, the video would strike your emotion. Many times, when I watched the videos, I would almost shed tears. Well, if you're a man, and not wanting people around you to know that you cry, you can just loudly say, "Darn it! The dust got into my eyes!"

Parents don't cry because their children are leaving the school or the teachers. Parents are foreseeing and anticipating way beyond what can be seen in front of their eyes. Children grow up. Leave kindergarten to go to primary schools. Later to secondary school. To universities. Got a job. See somebody nice and got married. Got children and move to another house. Got more children and become busy with family and careers. And are only able to spend very little time to see us - their parents. That's why parents cry, touched when they watch the video! And not about leaving kindergarten!

And the best thing is, Kidz Cabin has always managed to make every single moment of the children's and the parents' life with Kidz Cabin memorable.

Kids like presents. So all the children were given some sort of gift to make them happy. And of course, all parents love to see their children happy. But it was not just the children that got the rewards. Parents who dressed up to the theme strikingly, boldly, beautifully, were also given some token of appreciation for the extra effort and for being sporting. My wife was announced as the 'Best Dressed Mommy' and Mr Hakim as the 'Best Dressed Daddy'. Congratulation to both! And again, thank you to Kak Uda for making the beautiful dresses for my wife and Sabriena. And as I've said before, moment like this with Kidz Cabin, will always make our day.
