Part 1
7 November 2015 - This maybe a very old story. So old to be told. But the essence of the story is still significant and worth to be refreshed. So, here goes. The night before the day of the concert, Kidz Cabin's concert that is, I spent my hours with some friends from high school (MRSM-Pengkalan Chepa) at Persada Plus.
Playing badminton. The session finished sometimes after midnight. I went straight away to Kak Uda's house who was still struggling to finish making Sabriena's and my wife's dresses for tomorrow morning's concert. I waited for more than an hour. Slept on the couch until about half past two in the morning. Kak Uda handed in to me the dresses. She looked so worn out. Thank you so much Kak Uda for all the efforts to fulfill this wish from my wife.

This year's theme. |

Still at home. |
This year's theme was 1001 Nights. The Arabian nights. The concert was held in Matic at Jalan Ampang. A very nice place with very nice ambience. We reached there quite late. Quickly sent Sabriena to her teachers to get prepared at back stage. We found ourselves a place to sit. Settled down and later grab some food. My personal opinion, this was the best concert setting by Kidz Cabin crew. We enjoyed the food. Enjoyed the atmosphere. So spacious. Every thing seemed to be perfect!

While waiting for the concert to begin, we took pictures at all beautiful corners in the hall. Mingled around. Chit chat with friends. And continued eating, while listening to opening speech by the principal, Datin Zarida. And later speech by Datuk Atikah Adom.
The parents of Kidz Cabin's children were apparently so supportive, sporting and energetic. Many dressed up to the theme. Well, not precisely to the 1001 Nights theme, but somewhat close to it. The general understanding about 1001 Nights theme was as follow: things that are related to the middle east, Arabs, ancient Egypts, Persians, etc. Nobody was checking. Just put on something striking, get noticed, and bang! You'll get some rewards.
To be continued...
