Part 2
After about half an hour
organising the children, the marching song was finally switched on. The children, led by the teachers walked in, to the centre stage and did their marching like the Soldiers of Fortune. Well, of course there was no relationship between the children and the Soldiers of Fortune. I am simply a big fan of Deep Purple. Ha ha ha.
"Oh my God. Do we really have to walk to the centre of the sports hall? I feel like taking a leak. Help me!" |
"Yes! I'm confident. I have always been a confident boy. Errrrr... I guess". |
Now, these are absolute confident girls. |
Preparing to march in. |
"We are from the Purple Cabin group. But we prefer to wear dark blue t-shirt instead. Yeah!" |
The more senior children. |
Here we go! |
Need some company pleaseeeee.... |
The children wearing coloured t-shirt representing their classes, and their ages, marched with proudness. There are blues, reds, yellows and purples. Written on their t-shirts - "Rock Star". I supposed that was the theme for this year's sports day. Cheerful faces spread all over the place. The more emotional children expressed their excitement in different ways. Some parents had to accompany their crying children. Well, that was alright. After all, it was an event for everyone in the Kidz Cabin family. Including the parents.
All in lines. Crooked lines. |
Teacher Fatimah making sure the lines are straight. |
Children of the Yellow Cabin began to march. |
Let us walk in circles. |
"Hey! We've been walking in circles for hours. And we're not going any where". |
Here came Sabriena. |
Sometimes daddies have to intervene. |
Just keep walking. Just keep walking. Till we reach the destination of nowhere. |
The children of Red Cabin. |
Here came the Yellow Cabin children. |
Teacher Datin Zarida was making sure the national flag was held properly. |
Raise the flag! |
The dancing moves. |
Let's do some exercise. |
Sway to the right, and sway to the left. |
Last year there was the Zumba moves. This year, the children were dancing some other moves led by Teacher Yaya, Teacher Atika and Teacher Adila. "I like to move it move it! I like to move it move it! I like to..... MOVE IT!!!" Parents cheered, clapped, took pictures, due to excitement. Well, this was just the beginning. Wait until you see the following agendas.
To be continued...
Everyone was sweating. Phew! |
Teacher Fatimah conducting the Red Cabin. |
Loosen your muscles. |
Do some stretching. |
Take some breather. |
Dance to the rock and roll music. |
Acrobatic moves in the house. I mean, in the cabin. |
Show was over. For now. |
